    Consolidation /Area gap – The gap which appears in the common area (non tending) of both buyer & seller . volume will be low.This gap may be refilled in near term.

    Break out gap :-The gap which appears in any one of zone (buyer or seller )  .normally it appears after a huge volume . it may not be refilled in near term

    Runaway gap : the gap which appears after break out,may not be filled in near term. volume is distributed evenly during the day .

    Exhaustion gap : If the run away gap refilled on the same day ,then it is exhaustion gap .Volume is very high.

    Breakout –breakout appears above it’s trading range(either in sellers/buyers zone) with high volume and this gap may not be filled in near term.

    Runaway –post breakout,runaway gap occurs in trending zone with volume spread evenly during the day and the close should high(close to high) of the day.this gap may not be filled in near term

    Exhaustion –if runaway gay is filled within same day  and then close should be day’s low.volume should be very high during the day

    Area GAP : Any gap appearing inside the non trending area is called an Area GAP.

    Breakout GAP: When the GAP appears out of the Range with high volume, it is called a breakout GAP.

    Runaway GAP: When the GAP extends beyond the breakout gap,

    Exhaustion GAP: If there is a GAP at the opening but disappears by the END of day.

    Bullish Breakout gap – The gap which appears after the price breaks out above the trading area with huge volume . The gap may not be filled in the near term

    Bearish Breakdown gap – The gap which appears after the price breaks down belowr the trading area with huge volume . The gap may not be filled in the near term

    Runaway gap : the gap which appears after break out,may not be filled in near term. volume is distributed evenly during the day .
