It may not be refilled in near term.
Volume is distributed evenly during the day.
Volume is very high.
Area Gap : Occurs in the non-trending area.Its expected to be filled.Volume is not high.
Break out Gap : Occurs in the trending area.It is not expected to be filled.Volume is high.
Runaway Gap : Occurs in the trending area. It occurs after a break out gap. It may not be filled. Volume is evenly distributed throughout
the day.
Exhaustion Gap : When a runaway gap fills on the same day,its called exhaustion gap.
Area gap – occurs in non trending area, volume may not be high, will be filled by counter party.
Breakout gap – occurs when a party wins and starts forming a new trend with high volume.
Runaway gap – occurs when short position starts to exit by covering position.
Exhaustion gap – occurs when runaway gap is filled on same day.
Area Gap/Consolidation: -It happens on non trending area. This gap may or may not be filled we cant predict. If gas is not filled means, counter party is not strong enough.
Breakout:- It shows starting of new trend. It usually happens after side way/non trending stage
Runaway:- It confirms trend after the breakout. It happens after Breakout. It is due to selling by seller to book their losses.
Exhaustion:- It shows trend reversal. Eg: If there was bullish trend, price will be opening pretty higher and will close on lower price than that of previous day close.
Area gap:gap appears on the non trending area where the volume is low during the gap .
Breakout gap:gap appears above the trading range where the volume is high during gap
Runaway gap:gap appears after the break out may not be filled where the the volume is evenly distributed during the day.
exhaution gap:when the run away gap fills on the same day then it is exhaution gap.
