NSE is more popular than BSE because, NSE is adopted to technology faster when it is setup the NSDL(Depository) which allowed investors to hold the stocks electronically.

Though BSE is oldest Exchange in the country NSE is more popular due to innovative technology and first mover advantage in introducing Derivatives.

NSE became more popular because Future and options were introduced by them and also because of higher liquidity level of shares

The NSE is better than BSE for the following reasons :

1. Liquidity

2.more good for day trading

3. fraud and transparency protection is better than BSE

BSE sensex ( sencitive index) index shows 30 top trading company

NSE nifty ( national fifty) index shows 50 top trading company
