How come NSE become popular than BSE?

NSE is popular than BSE because NSE introduced futures and options before BSE,This made many companies shifting to NSE.

Firstly, NSE introduced electronic mode of trading and investing earlier than BSE in 2001. Prior to 2001, trading happened on papers, which caused problems like delays and bad deliveries.

Secondly, NSE also issued futures and options earlier than BSE.  These are the 2 reasons  why NSE is more popular than BSE
