NSE adopted newer technologies faster than BSE. Some of them include online transactions, NSDL (electronic depository ) etc.

BSE was stated in late 18th century whereas the NSE was introduced in the market with latest technologies like online transactions which made it more reliable and easy to access resulting in making it more popular though it was introduced in the early 19 century.
