What happens if I quote high price to buy a stock compared to its current market price?

If we quote high price compared to its current market price it will be executed shortly without the price list.

Stock that executes only in the current market price not in the quoted high price.

If someone quotes a high price to buy a stock than the market price, then that buyer get’s a first place in the buyer’s queue and a trade immediately happens once the price matches with the seller’s price(current market price)

if we quote high price to buy the stocks then buyers stands on the top of buyers queue then the stocks trade with best selling price

In case I quote a higher price , it will still get listed but will be placed in the line of executions accordingly. The trade would not be executed as a counter party needs to enter the same price to get it executed.
