Why do we need to close the intraday position on the same day? Is it mandate?

Yes it is mandate to close the intraday position because we use the sentiment and some factors that dose not valid for next day, the intraday analysis is done only for intaday if we wont close the position next day it may cause heavy loss or the may never go up for few months or year then we have all the worst stocks in our basket.

Since we are creating intraday position based on analysis of particular day, it is better to close the position on the same day

Long position can be maintained but short position should be closed on the same day

We need to close the intraday position on the same day. because we are creating positions based on the intraday analysis. we do not know the following trend in the next day.

short position should be closed on the same day. Long position can be kept hold if it has positive trend.

As the settlement has to be done on the same day, intraday position needs to closed on the same day and it is mandate.

It is mandatory to close intraday short positions. Since we don’t use the conventional analysis methods in intraday trading it is wise to settle the long positions in the same day
