Why do we need to close the intraday position on the same day? Is it mandate?

If trading was begin with intraday in mind, analysis would have been done in the same mindset so it is better to close all intraday position on the same day. Though closing long position is not mandatory closing short position on the same day is highly mandatory

Intraday positions are taken by using world market sentiments on that day only.so we need to close the intraday position on the same day.

No it is not mandate for long position. Its only mandate for short position.

Intraday has tobe closed on the same day because settlement has to be done at 3.30. Yes it is a mandate for intraday to close it on the same day

Yes. As a discipline do not carry forward an intraday trade. Is it not mandate but it is advised.

In Intraday settlement happens on the same day so it is mandate to exit the Intraday position on the same day.
