Why the positional analytical methods are not followed in intraday analysis?

Since intraday has to be closed on the same day Positional analytical methods are not followed.

Positional analysis analyse market trend, price patterns, demand and supply, volume for a short duration 1- 3 mths to forecast future price movement and take a position. The expected price movement can occur anywhere near term.

If we apply these parameters individually in intraday it may be misleading because each parameter complements to the strength of the other and confirmation can be arrived only after studying a period of time.

Positional analytical methods use vast data,past stock performance and decision taken is for long terms. The same methodology cannot be applied for intraday since the square off time is before the end of the same trading day.
