    1. Positional analysis is not concerned about current market momentum and sentiments like in Intraday.

    2. Trades can be held more than a day to achieve the objective of a positional trade. In Intraday, all positions are closed/squared-off by the close of the day.

    3. The inputs for an Intraday trading is different than a positional trade.

Positional analysis is a time-consuming one; however,  intraday trade is following the trend in the market.

Intraday day trader need not to follow the positional analysis.

The methods are not suitable in Intraday because, positional methods dont worry about market sentiments or following the current trend in the market.

Positional analysis are not followed for intraday as its very time consuming and requires few months for analyzing data.
